Sheila Ormsby, 83 of Oswego, passed away Tuesday August 31,2021.

She was born in Ogdensburg and was the daughter of the late Albert and Ruth (Labeau) Joanette.

Mrs. Ormsby was the wife of Robert J. Ormsby Sr. of Oswego.

She had been employed for many years with the Oswego County School District.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Robert Jr (& Sherry) Ormsby of Florida, Richard (Trish) Ormsby of Wisconsin, Timothy (Heather) Ormsby of South Carolina, a daughter Kimberly Newham of South Carolina, four sisters, Bonnie (Lou) Moro of Syracuse, Linda Fortin of Ogdensburg, Sue (Theron) Green and Carol (Adrian) Vielhauer of Ogdensburg, two brothers Donald (Rose Mary) Joanette and Tony Joanette of Ogdensburg. Seven Grandchildren (Corey, Brianna, Adam, Nicholas, Alexis, Kyle, and Ryan) and three Great-Grandchildren (Riley, Mason, and Jameson), as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by sisters, Mary (LaRose), Jane (Montoy), Alma (White), Ann (Barbara Ann White) and brothers, George and Raymond.

A Memorial Mass will take place on Tuesday October 26, 2021 in Christ the Good Shepherd Church at 10:00AM. Burial will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers family is requesting memorial contributions to francis house, located at 108 Michaels Ave. Syracuse, NY 13208
