Roy E. Parkhurst, Jr., 76 of Oswego passed away Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse.

He was born in Fulton and was the son of the late Roy E and Annabelle McCann Parkhurst, Sr.

Mr. Parkhurst was the husband of Jean Loomis Parkhurst.

Roy was a life resident of Oswego and had been employed for many years as a crane operator at Alcan.

In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter, Debora A. (David) Ryder of Cicero, two sons, Roy E. Parkhurst, III of Charlotte, NC., Ronald (Melissa) Parkhurst of Oswego, one brother, Donald (Beverly) Parkhurst of Oswego, one step daughter Lori (Johnny Wright) Wheeler of Fair Haven, one stepson, Randal (Kathe) Beckwith of Hannibal, thirteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Do to current circumstances services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in Fairdale Cemetery.
