Mr. Rory Edward Vale, age 60, passed away September 11, 2025, at his residence in Oswego. He was born March 25, 1965, in Syracuse, NY to Elizabeth (Straub) Vale, and the late Edward Vale.

He began to start a family of his own, and some of his greatest joy came from his two children. They created many memories while enjoying trips as a family, visiting Chenango Falls, various theme parks, and camping all over the Adirondacks.

Rory is survived and missed by his loving children Michael and Jessica; their mother Dawn; and his mother Elizabeth. He will be forever cherished and remembered by his sisters Brenda (Cliff) and Vanessa (Don); and his nieces and nephews, Sarah, Jill, Ryan, Erin, and Kevin. His memory will live on with the entire Vale family.

He was a man of creativity and rhythm, finding joy in playing his guitar, exploring art, and capturing the world through photography. Whether strumming a tune, sketching an idea, or framing the perfect shot, he expressed himself in ways that left lasting impressions on those around him.

Known for his quick wit and his legendary love of Diet Mountain Dew, he brought laughter and color into the lives of friends and family alike. His unique spirit and humor were as much a part of him as his passions.

His legacy can be found in the songs he played, the art he created, and the countless memories captured through his lens. Those who knew him will carry his light forward.
