Robert J. Ormsby Sr., 87 of Oswego, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021.

He was born in Oswego and was the son of the late Agnes Ormsby and Jacob Van Hall.

He had been employed for many years as a heavy equipment operator.

He is survived by three sons, Robert Jr (& Sherry) Ormsby of Florida, Richard (Trish) Ormsby of Wisconsin, Timothy (Heather) Ormsby of South Carolina, a daughter Kimberly Newham of South Carolina.  Seven Grandchildren (Corey, Brianna, Adam, Nicholas, Alexis, Kyle, and Ryan) and three GreatGrandchildren (Riley, Mason, and Jameson), as well as several nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Sheila Ormsby.

A Memorial Mass will take place on Tuesday October 26, 2021, in Christ the Good Shepherd Church at 10:00AM for Robert and Sheila.  Burial will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers family is requesting memorial contributions to Francis House, located at 108 Michaels Ave. Syracuse, NY 13208.
