Rebecca A. Nelson, 65 of Oswego passed away Wednesday October 21, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family’.

She was born ion Oswego and was the daughter of the late Leslie Arthur and Sylvia May DeGroff.

Rebecca had been employed for many years at the Sunrise Nursing Home.

She is survived by her daughter Micelle Lauckarn of Fulton, her son Joseph Nelson of Caughdenoy, two brothers, Scott DeGroff and Michael DeGroff, Two sisters, Betsy Smith and Margaret Bristol, both of Oswego, three grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be 4-6PM, Monday, October 26, 2026 at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Rural Cemetery.
