Peter L. LaFave, 55, a resident of Oswego, passed away January 17, 2023, at his home.

Peter was born in Oswego, the son of N. Jeanette (Barnes) LaFave, and the late Peter LaFave. He was a life resident of the area.

Prior to his retirement, he had been employed as an aide to the handicapped at Lockland School in Waterloo.

He is survived by his wife, Debrah LaFave of Oswego, two daughters, Candace LaFave of Oswego, and Ashley Brown of Oswego; his mother, Jeanette LaFave of Oswego; two brothers, Theodore (Pearl) LaFave of Salt Lick, KY, and Michael (Courtney) LaFave of Liverpool; five sisters Bonnie (Jim) Sharlow of Minetto, Lisa Mae LaFave of Oswego, Wendy (Chris) Dice of Jonesboro, TN,, Jennie LaFave of New Port Richey, FL, and Billie Jean (Ian) Beaver of Bryson City, NC; many nieces and nephews,  many great-nieces and nephews; and his beloved cat, Pico.

Graveside services will be held in the spring in North Scriba Cemetery.

There will be no calling hours.
