Pamela J. Rice, 65, a resident of Oswego, passed away unexpectedly on February 1, 2026.

Pam was born in Oswego, the daughter of Valerie (Cuyler) Kelly and the late Charles Guilds.

She was a person who loved being out in nature, and especially enjoyed snakes and frogs.

Pam was an accomplished artist, and she created many beautiful paintings and drawings.

She is survived by her husband, Brian Rice of Oswego; her mother; two daughters, Michelle (Daniel) Desalis of Cicero, and Heather Steele of Cooksville, Tennessee; a son, Paul Guilds of Crossville, Tennessee; three brothers, Larry Guilds of Rochester, David Guilds of Oswego, and Georgie Guilds of Oswego; two sisters, Sharon Guilds of Syracuse, and Amy Greaf of Tacoma, Washington; four grandchildren, Jenniffer Guilds, Daniel Woodard, Zane Heartgrove, and Renesmee Heartgrove; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private.

There will be no calling hours.

Arrangements are in the care of the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Oswego.
