Nora M. Jones, 94, a resident of the Myers Road in the Town of Scriba for many years, passed away Thursday, at the Oswego Hospital.

Mrs. Jones was born in Oswego, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Cassie (Fleming) Meeker. She resided in the Town of Minetto for many years until she was married.

She was married to the late Robert Jones for 70 years. Mr. Jones died in 2012.

She enjoyed bowling, and was a member of the Oswego County Home Bureau.

Mrs. Jones was a member of the American Duplicate Bridge Association.

She is survived by a son, Donald R. (Karen) Jones of Scriba; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, David Jones; and three sisters, Mildred Meeker, Mary Mack, and Elizabeth Van Gorder.

Funeral services will be held at 7pm Thursday, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Peck Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held from 5-7pm Thursday, prior to the service, at the funeral home, 112 East Second Street.
