Nanette H. Puglia, 64, a resident of the Silk Road in the town of Volney, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, June 18, 2020.

Nanette was born in Oswego, the daughter of the late LaVerne and Dorothy Peeling. She was a life resident of the area.

She loved her animals on her farm, and also enjoyed reading, crocheting and crossword puzzles. She was a tender-hearted person who will be missed by many.

She is survived by her husband, Vincent Puglia; her daughter, Tammy (Jon Bucci) Fenske; four siblings, Gary (Lorraine) Peeling, Harold (Barb) Peeling, LaVonne (Earl) Davis, and Tom (Marie) Peeling; two step-children, Laura (Jon) LoFaro, and Vincent Puglia; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Timothy Peeling.

Services will be private.

Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Scriba.
