Mary F. "Tassy" Bailey, 79, a resident of Lyon Street in Oswego, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024, following a long illness.

Mary was born in Hannibal, NY, the daughter of the late Peter and Dorothy (Miller) Falcetti. She was a graduate of Hannibal High School. She had lived in Oswego for 60 years.

She was the wife of the late Eugene Bailey, who died in 1996.

Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as a cook with Canale's Restaurant in Oswego, but Mary's most important job was being a homemaker, and loving wife and mother, to her family.

One of Mary's favorite activities was taking trips to the casino to play bingo.

She is survived by five sons, Andrew (Lorrie) Bailey of Oswego, Daniel Rice of Oswego, Douglas Rice of Oswego, Kevin Bailey of Florida, and Bruce (Rebecca) Bailey of Pulaski; two sisters, Dorothy Jenkins of South Carolina, and Virginia Gallivan of Canada; five grandchildren, Daniel, Stephen, Marissa, Patricia, and Amelia; several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and her beloved dog, Jazzie.

In addition to her husband, Mary was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey Bailey, and a brother, Joseph Falcetti.

Calling hours will be held from 4-7pm Wednesday, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home,

A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 7:00.

Graveside committal services will be held at 11:00 Thursday, in Rural Cemetery.
