Marion Kay Sears, 79 of Oswego passed away unexpectedly on Saturday July 18, 2026.

Kay was born in Saranac Lake and was the daughter of the late James and Marion Bennett Shuler.

It is with heavy hearts, this farewell, to a loving wife, mother and grandmother, "Marion Kay Sears".

Kay was selfless, always helping others and putting others needs, comfort and welfare ahead of her own. A true generous, compassionate and supportive person who was strong, yet sensitive.

Every day your presence will be missed but your love lives on in your husband, daughter and grandson, son-in-law and friends.

Be with the angels now…shine down on us and we will always be together…our hero…all of our love…

She is survived by her husband Pete Sears, her daughter Ranee Lynn (Brian) Rice, her grandson, Kyle Rice, one brother David Shuler of Columbia, South Carolina, one sister Karen Goff of Vermontville, NY.

Calling hours will be held from 3-6PM Thursday July 30, 2026, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
