Lois E. Reid, 90, a resident of Simeon Dewitt Apts. in Oswego, NY, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her daughters.

Lois was born in Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Clara and Roy Mathews.  She was married for 25 years to Donald L. Reid (deceased).  As an Army wife, Lois lived in Rhode Island, Texas and Germany. She loved traveling and adventure.   Lois worked at Safe Haven Museum for 12 years, telling the story of the refugees who lived at Ft. Ontario.  She could be found every Tuesday night calling Bingo for her friends at Simeon Dewitt.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great- great grandmother and aunt. Her favorite times were spent with her family and friends.  She always had a smile for everyone.

She is survived by her 3 daughters, Gail (Douglas) Potter, Patricia Wyman and Susan Reid. Grandchildren Douglas (Jussara) Potter, Meredith Potter, Julie Wyman, Richard Wyman, Jr., Jacob (Emilie) Reid, and David (Stacey) Reid.  She had 9 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Jean Pike of Braintree, Ma.

The family will be having a private memorial service at a later date.
