It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce Linda M. (Dietz) DeMassi, 57, of Oswego, NY, has passed away peacefully on Friday, November 15, 2024.

Linda was born on January 27, 1967, to the late Richard and Rose (Piazza) Dietz. She was married to the love of her life, Michael F. DeMassi, for 19 years, until his passing in 2012.

She is survived by her daughter and the light of her life, Jennifer DeMassi; her brother, Richard Dietz; her sisters, Carol (Ron) Scaccia, and Karen (Ed) Kelly; her stepdaughters, Christi (Chris) Taylor, Therese (Mike) Gallagher, and Trisha (Casey) Horne; and their children. She was predeceased by her stepson, Mikey DeMassi. She was a loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews, as well as to her great-niece, Aria Rose Kelly.

Linda was previously employed by Niagara Mohawk, Broadwell Hospitality, the Oswego Hospital, and was a former member of the City of Oswego Common Council.

She was loved by so many and will always be remembered for her infectious laugh and vibrant personality. She was the life of every party and will be missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of life will be held at the Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center at 26 East 1st Street Oswego, NY 13126 on Tuesday, November 19th, 2024, from 4-7pm.
