Lawrence R. King, Sr., 77, a resident of the Lilly Marsh Road in Mexico, passed away Thursday, in Syracuse.

Mr. King was born in Oswego, the son of the late Richard and Mildred (Coe) King. He was a life resident of the area.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed on many local construction projects with Laborer's Local 214.

He is survived by a daughter, Christine (Brian) Bowers of Mexico; a son Lawrence (Donna) King, Jr. of Pulaski; two brothers, Arnie (Marsha) King of Oswego, and Harold "Joe" King of Oswego; two sisters, Laura (Ken) Buske of Oswego, and Maureen (Lee) Finlayson of Oswego; six grandchildren, Joshua, Michael, Jessica, Rebecca, Andrew, and Courtney; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Nancy (Buddie) King; and a brother, Conley King.

Services will be private.

Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Scriba.

There are no calling hours.
