Laura L. Earl, 98 of Oswego passed away Wednesday at St. Luke Health Service's

She was born in Oswego and was the daughter of the late Charles and Florence Loughrey Carrier.

She had been employed for many years as a seamstress at Odstead Manufacturing.

Mrs. Earl enjoyed cooking and travel. She was a big fan of country music and Ernest Tubb.

She was a longtime member of the Grace Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Earl is survived by two daughters, Delores (Timothy) Dopp of Hannibal, Joy Leone of Oswego, 7 grandchildren several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Ross Earl who died in 1998. a son David Earl, a daughter Mildred Patterson, three sisters Norma Dana, Clara Carrier and Norene North.

Private funeral and burial services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
