Katherine Lee "Pat" West, 82, a resident of Oswego, passed away Tuesday, at the Morningstar Residential Care Center.

Pat was born Oswego, the daughter of the late Frank and Kathleen (Countryman) Lee. She was a life resident of the area.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an account clerk and typist with the Oswego City School District.

She was the wife of the late Donald J. West, Jr., who died on March 22, 2017.

She was a former communicant of St. John's Church in Oswego.

Pat loved her husband, children, and grandchildren; she devoted her life to their happiness. Pat enjoyed walking the dogs, Saturday night dinners, knitting, quilting, reading, and teaching her osteo class. Pat looked forward to spending her summers at camp and watching the daily sunsets. In the winter months, Pat watched football, hockey, and the Yankees with her late husband Dee, and the family.

She is survived by a daughter, Kathleen "K.C." (Mark) Maniccia of Oswego; four sons, Donald F. West of Oswego, Thomas (Patti Hilton) West of Oswego, Jeffrey West of Long Island, and Paul (Cathi Dunsmore) West of Oswego; seven grandchildren, Michael, Thomas, Matthew, Trey, Emmalee, Elyse, and Anthony; three great-grandchildren, Skylar, Lilyanne, and Kellan; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a granddaughter, Stephanie West.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 Friday, in St. Joseph's Church.

Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.

There will be no calling hours.
