John J. Harrington, 87 of Oswego died Tuesday evening in the Oswego Hospital.

Mr. Harrington was born in Oswego and was the son of the late Cornelius W. and Bernice Lower Harrington.

He was the husband of the late Jeanne E. LeBlanc Harrington who died in 2006

He had been employed for many years with the Oswego City School District.

Mr. Harrington was a Communicant of St. Mary's Church and a member of the VFW Post 5885.

He is survived by his son John J. (Kathleen) Harrington of Beverly Hills, Florida and one granddaughter, Heather A. (Clint) Matthison of Slidell, Louisiana. .

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
