John Hamilton Ecke, 83, a resident of East 12th St. in Oswego, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018, in Syracuse.

Mr. Ecke was born in Ossining, NY, the son of the late Vincent and Ida (Griffin) Ecke.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed, for many years, with the General Motors Corp. in Tarrytown, NY.

He is survived by two daughters, Nancy (Kevin) Breen of Georgia, and Annette (James Araneo) Ecke of Westchester Co, NY; two sons, John (Andrea) Ecke of Oswego, and Vincent (Jennifer Hamilton) Ecke of Oswego; his wife Rosemarie Ecke of Oswego; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be private.

There will be no calling hours.
