Joann Methot, 75 , of Oswego, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019 , at St. Lukes with her family by her side. She was born in Oswego, daughter of the late Joseph Woods, and, Loretta Keating Woods. She was employed at Friendly's as General manager for twenty years. She enjoyed playing bingo and yatzee and going to Disneyworld with her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her Granddaughter Emma. She was also DRE (Director of Religious Education) at St. Marys for a number of years.

She is predeceased by her sister Theresa Beshures, and niece, Jennifer Evans.

Survived by her husband, Bill Methot, daughters, Lisa (Mike) Stephens of Syracuse, Pamela (Robert) Methot of Oswego, and, Julie (Vincent) Methot of Oswego, two brothers, Joe (Pam) Woods of Hornell, and, Francis (Sally) Woods of Oswego, two sisters, Margaret (Eric) Pollard of North Carolina, and Patty (Bill) Evans of California, two Grand Children, Amanda (Jim) Davis of Syracuse, Allison (Nate) Stephens of Syracuse, and her Great Grand Daughter, Emma Kelley, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Sunday, 2:00-5:00 at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Oswego, a Catholic Funeral Mass will take place at St. Marys Of The Assumption, at 10:00 AM Monday, burial will follow at St. Peters Cemetery. www.catoredcreek.com
