Jay F. Corey, 61 of Oswego passed away Wednesday at his home.

Mr. Corey was born in Oswego and was the son of the late John Corey and Doris (Smith) Wallace.

He served in the US Marine Corp. and after was known as the jack of all trades, but there was no occupation he hadn't mastered.

He had lived in Florida for several years prior to returning to Oswego.

Mr. Corey is survived by two daughters, Donna (Justin) Ward of Parish and K. Jessica Corey of New Haven, three brothers, James Corey of Florida, Joseph Crimmins of Scriba, Frederick Crimmins of Oswego, three sisters, Dolores Corey of Oswego, Donna Vance of Florida, Deborah Dann of Mallory, two  grandchildren Kathryn and Liam Ward, and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, John Corey of Scriba.

Calling hour will be Thursday 1-2 pm at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home with a service at 2 pm
