Harriett (Hopkins) Gilmore, 71 and a resident of Oswego passed away Monday evening in the Oswego Hospital.

She was born in Oswego and was the daughter of the late Harry and Helen Newstead Hopkins.

Mrs. Gilmore retired from Walmart after 23 years of service.

She was also instrumental in the operation of Lou's Fix It Shop with her husband.

She is survived by her husband Louis D. Gilmore, Sr. two daughters Christine M. (Raymond) Clary and Debra L. Gilmore, both of Oswego, three sons, Louis (Lynne) Gilmore, Jr. of Orlando, Florida, Robert C. Gilmore and William R. Gilmore both of Oswego, one sister Ann (Michael) Dantuono of California, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday 9:00AM at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home. Calling hours Thursday 4-7PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
