Francis "Frank" Stadnicki, 70, a resident of Syracuse, and a former resident of Oswego, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Van Duyn Nursing Home in Syracuse.

Frank was born in Oswego, the son of the late Adolph and Alphonsa (Niziolek) Stadnicki. He lived in Oswego for most of his life.

He had formerly worked at Al's Grocery Store in Oswego, which was owned and operated by his parents.

In his younger years, he was known as an exceptional golfer, and competed in various area tournaments.

He had no surviving relatives, but will be remembered by many friends and long-time caregivers at his residences in Central New York.

Graveside services will be held at a time to be announced, in St. Peter's Cemetery, Oswego

There are no calling hours.

Arrangements are in care of the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home in Oswego.
