Francis D. McCormack, 94, a lifelong resident of Oswego, passed away Friday morning, at St. Luke Health Services.

Mr. McCormack was born in Oswego, the son of the late Dr. Frank McCormack and Marguerite (Schilling) McCormack.

He was a veteran of the US Navy, serving in WWII.

Mr. McCormack was a graduate of Siena College class of 1951.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a chemist with the Breneman-Hartshorn Co. in Oswego.

He was a former member of the Oswego Country Club, and was a lifelong communicant of St. Mary's Church.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Irene (Donovan) McCormack; his second wife, Anna (McCarthy) Richardson-McCormack; and two sisters, Helen Scheutzow and Sr. Jane Marie.

He is survived by two step-sons, Fay (Eileen Dulin) Richardson, II of Loudonville, NY, and Dennis Gary (Phyllis) Richardson of Oswego; five step-grandsons, Fay W. Richardson III, Adam C. Richardson, Esq., Matthew C. Richardson, Jeffrey Richardson, and Dr. Gregory Richardson; and 14 step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 Wednesday in St. Mary's Church.

Entombment will be in All Saint Mausoleum, St. Peter's Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 Tuesday, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, 112 East Second Street in Oswego.
