Earl N. Davis, 79 of Oswego died Friday September 29, at University Hospital in Syracuse.
He was born in Scriba and was the son of the late Howard "Chub" and Lucille Bellinger Davis.
Mr. Davis had been employed at Alcan for 35 years until his retirement.
He was married to the love of his life for 59 years, LaVonne Peeling Davis.
Earl was a loving family man who adored his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He enjoyed racing, camping and woodworking.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter, Penny (Allan) Shenefiel, two sons Gregg (Robin) Davis and Todd (Cindy) Davis all of Oswego, one brother Richard (Deborah) Davis of Charlotte, North Carolina, two brothers in-law, Harold (Barbara) Peeling, Thomas (Marie) Peeling, eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren,  several nieces,  nephews and many dear friends.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sister Barbara Germain.
There are no services at this time. There will be a private Celebration of Life in the future.
