Dorothy Lois Putnam passed away on July 24, 2019. Born in Oswego, the daughter of Leon N. and Helen (Picken) Brown, she attended Oswego High School and Syracuse University. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Robert N. Putnam. They resided for 60 years in Fruit Valley and she recently lived at Springside at Seneca Hill. Dorothy retired from Auxiliary Services at SUNY Oswego, and enjoyed memberships with the Oswego Country Club and American Contract Bridge League.

She is survived by her sister, Barbara B. Murphy McCormack of Oswego, her children Robert N. (Carol) Putnam of Sarasota, Florida, and Rebecca N. (Thomas) Schenck of Mexico, NY, grandson R. Reid (Lauren) Putnam of Carmel, Indiana, and three great-granddaughters, Riley, Bailey, and Charlotte Putnam.

Services are private with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Oswego.
