Donna Lee Hammond, 76, a resident of Mexico, NY passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Oswego Hospital.

Donna was born in Oswego, the daughter of the late William and Edith (Wallace) Hogan.  She was a life resident of the area.

She was married to the late Fred "Fritz" Hammond and was happily married for 53 years before he passed in 2021.  They loved going to casinos together.

Donna loved spending time with her family.  She was a loving mother and grandmother. She would do anything to make sure her loved ones were happy. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her granddaughter, Aly and grandson-in-law, Jay.  She enjoyed spending her evenings with her sister Nancy. She loved meeting her friends and sister-in-law, Isabel at the casino and going to craft fairs with her late sister, Barbara. She dearly loved her cats throughout the years, Myrna, Buster, Buddy and Baby. Her grand-dogs, Honey and Tuna brought her lots of laughs and smiles whenever they spent time together.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Charles) Maitland of Mexico; a sister, Nancy Bond of Mexico and brother, Andy Hogan of Oswego; her Granddaughter, Aly Facteau (Jay Kisselstein) of Hastings; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son, Fred Hammond; a brother William Hogan; and two sisters, Mary Ketcham and Barbara Hogan.

Services will be private.  Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.
