Dawn Meeker-Whitford, 86, from Oswego, NY, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2021, in her granddaughter's home, surrounded by loving family.

Known by many, Dawn was a Business Owner of numerous establishments over the years (The Gay 90's, Cheer's, No Place, Hill Top, etc).  She also held a beautician license and owned a home-based salon.

She built an incredible life; she was a beautiful, spirited, independent, hard working woman.

She is survived by 3 children, William (Judy) Whitford of Scriba,
Charles (Robin) Whitford of Scriba, Mary (Paul) Connolly of Oswego; 6 grandchildren, Lynn (Jason) Leisenring, Jennifer (John) Clark, Mary (Chris) Toland, Jamie Whitford, Zachary (Victoria) Connolly, and Joshua (Serena) Connolly.  She also leaves behind 4 great grandchildren, Grant Williams, Ashton & Bella Leisenring, and Allie Berg; a brother, Ralph (Diann) Meeker; a niece Marion Looker; and many other nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Theodore and Leah (Quackenbush) Meeker; 5 sisters, Beatrice Himple, Lorna Hogan, Marion Burgo, Ethel Meeker, and Rose Clark; and a brother, Howard (Sonny) Meeker.

A celebration of life will be private and will take place at the family residence.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
