Daniel C. Syrell, 52, a resident of Merrick Street in Oswego, passed away Thursday, at the Oswego Hospital.

Danny was born in Oswego, the son of Laura (Murray) Syrell, and the late Joseph Syrell. He was a life resident of the area.

He had been employed as a wire handler with the Oswego Wire Co. in Oswego.

He was a communicant of St. Peter's Church.

He is survived by his mother, Laura Syrell of Oswego; a daughter, Brooke (Zachary Gushlaw) Syrell of Oswego; a son, Daniel (Brittany Roffo) Syrell of Oswego; three brothers, Gary (Brenda) Syrell of Oswego, David Syrell of Oswego, and Bryan Syrell of Oswego; a sister, Donna Crouse of Oswego; a brother-in-law, Joseph Fellows of Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Peter Syrell; a sister, Deborah Fellows; and a brother-in-law, David Crouse.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Tuesday, in St. Peter's Church.

Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.

There will be no calling hours.

Arrangements are in care of the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Oswego.
