Daniel James Carey

Daniel James Carey, 66 of Oswego passed away Monday, September 28, 2026 at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

He was born in Oswego and was the son of the late Glenn F. and Ethel Burdick Carey.

Mr. Carey had been employed as an auto mechanic at the Midas shop in Oswego for over thirty years.

He is survived by one daughter, Candice L. Carey of Mexico, one son Kevin J. Carey of Fulton, two brothers, Thomas H. Carey of Oswego, Jeffery A Carey of Florida, one sister Cheryl Watson of Arizona, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by one sister, Linda Carey Gessner.

Calling hours will be 3-5PM Friday October 9,2026 at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life to take place at the Shamrock Tavern 67 East Seneca St. Oswego, immediately following the calling hours.
