Christine Michele VonHoltz, 60, of Croghan, NY and formerly of Oswego, NY passed away Thursday evening, February 12th, at the Wynn Hospital in Utica, NY.

She was born in Oswego, NY and was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Patricia McGann Lunette.

Christine was a graduate of Oswego High School and Oswego County BOCES, where she completed the horticulture program. She was an avid gardener and caregiver. She enjoyed cooking for her family, friends, and neighbors.

She is survived by one son Larry VonHoltz, Jr. of Baldwinsville, two sisters Lisa (Steve) Strait of Glenfield, and Michelle Shambo of Croghan, three grandchildren, one aunt, Agnes McGann of Oswego, and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Christ the Good Shepherd Church in Oswego, NY on Saturday, April 18th, 2026 at 10:00. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
