Charles H. "Hargie" Woodworth, Jr., 86 of the Town of Oswego passed away Saturday in the Oswego Hospital.

Mr. Woodworth was born in the Town of Oswego and was the son of the late Charles Harger Woodworth, Sr. and Esther Cole Woodworth.

He was a self-employed excavating contractor and was a member of the Operating Engineers Local.

Mr. Woodworth was a member of the Fairdale Cemetery Board of Directors.

He was the husband of the late Donna G. Painter Woodworth who died May 7, 2018.

He is survived by three daughters, Cindy Buske of Florida, Brenda (Mark) Brown-Lyons of Arizona, Kathy Woodworth of Oswego, one son Charles H. "Chip" (Christine) Woodworth, III of Oswego, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and many neices and nephews.

In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by a son John Woodworth, four siblings, Neil Cole, Calvin Woodworth, Olive Rozmus and Alice Woodworth.

Funeral services will be 9:00AM Thursday at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton, NY Calling hours Wednesday 4-7PM at the funeral home.
