Carolyn A. McDermott, 67, a resident of Swift Street in Oswego, died Sunday, in the Manor at Seneca Hill.
Carolyn was born in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of the late John and Alice (Alton) McDermott. She had lived in Oswego for most of her life.
Prior to her 2003 retirement, she was employed at the Alcan Aluminum Corp. in Oswego.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church.
She is survived by a sister, Patricia Battelle of Oswego; two nephews, Kevin Battelle of Mooresville, NC, and Michael (Valerie) Battelle of Oswego; a great-niece, Mackenzie Battelle; and a great-nephew, Ryan Battelle.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Thursday, in St. Joseph’s Church.
Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.
