Elsie H. Jerrett, 93, a resident of Bishop’s Commons in Oswego, passed away Wednesday, at her home.
Mrs. Jerrett was born in Oswego, the daughter of the late Edgar and Grace (Baker) Hart. She was a life resident.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a secretary with several local insurance companies, including the FitzGibbons-Sindoni Insurance Co.
Mrs. Jerrett had been a volunteer for the Oswego Hospital, and was a former member of the Eastern Star.
She was the wife of the late Lewis D. Jerrett, who died in 2002.
She is survived by her daughter, Faye (Chuck) Graul of Oswego; her grandson, Michael Harter of Oswego; two great-grandsons, Jerrett Harter and Anthony Harter; a sister, Dorothy Hart of Fulton; a brother, Sam (Dawn) Hart of Minetto; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00pm Monday, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held from 4:00 to 7:00pm Monday, prior to the service, at the funeral home, 112 East Second Street in Oswego.
