Oswego – Michael J. “Fitzy” Fitzgerald, 54, a resident of Bridie Square in Oswego, passed away Friday, at Rome Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Oswego, the son of the late Patrick and Deanna (Brown) Fitzgerald. He was a life resident.
He had been employed as a maintenance man with Lombardo’s Bridie Manor Restaurant in Oswego.
He enjoyed fishing, and was an avid fan of Oswego Speedway racing.
He is survived by two brothers, Ronald Fitzgerald of Scriba, and Donald Fitzgerald of Oswego; a sister, Trish Fitzgerald of Oswego; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday at the Bridie Manor Restaurant in Oswego, beginning at 4:00pm.
There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements are in care of the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, 112 East Second Street in Oswego.
