Sophia J. Ferris, 89 of Oswego passed away Friday evening at St. Luke Health Services, Inc.
She was born in Fulton and was the daughter of the late Theodore and Thecla Kostyszyn
Mrs. Ferris had previously lived for several years in Baldwinsville.
She had been employed for many years as a private duty Licensed Practical Nurse.
She is survived by two daughters Elaine Cass and Christine King both of California, three sons David (Diane) Ferris of Oswego, Michael Ferris of Tulsa, OK and Charles Ferris of New Jersey, one sister Mary Park of Michigan, nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a daughter Elizabeth Ferris
Funeral services will be Friday 8:30AM from the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home and at 9:00AM in St. Paul’s Church. Burial will be in Mexico Cemetery.
