|Catherine M. Seymour, 94 and a long time resident of 5 Lane Drive in the Town of Volney passed away Thursday morning at St. Luke Health Services, Inc.
She was born in Minetto and was the daughter of the late George and Beulah Hamilton Brownell.
Mrs. Seymour was the widow of Harvey Seymour, Sr. who died in 1992.
She had been employed for 31 at Nestles and had previously worked at McPhails, Taggerts and Oxheart Co. in Oswego.
Mrs. Seymour was Past President of the PTA and Motherís Club at the Seneca Hill School. She was also a member of the Fulton Bowling Hall of Fame, Women of the Fulton Moose, VFW Post 5885 Womenís Auxiliary, Military Order of Cooties Auxiliary, 48 and served as New York Grand President from 1992-1993.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, crafts, bowling and traveling.
She is survived by three daughters Catherine L. Hough of Oswego, Ruth A. Porter of Sandy Creek, Donna M. Reed of Oswego, three sons Harvey J. (Mary) Seymour, Jr. of Fulton, David G. (Marion) Seymour of Fulton and Las Vegas, NV, William V. (Patricia) Seymour of Oswego, twenty nine grandchildren, and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she was predeceased by three sisters Florence Clyde, Eva Fischer, Helen Beckwith, four brothers Reginald Brownell, David Brownell, Charles Brownell, Earl Brownell and a stepson Franklin Seymour.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11:00AM at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pecks Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday 4-7PM at the funeral home.
