Oswego – Alfred Reid, 78, a former resident of Lane Drive in the Town of Scriba, died Friday, at Sunrise Nursing Home.
Mr. Reid was born in Shirley, Massachusetts, the son of the late Elmer and Julia (Rivers) Reid. He had lived in the Oswego area for most of his life.
He was formerly employed with the Columbia Mills Co. in Minetto.
He is survived by a brother, Donald Reid of Oswego; 2 sisters, Shirley Sanford of Oswego, and Katherine Ketcham of Oswego; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Graveside services will be held at a later date in Peck’s Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements are in care of the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Oswego.
