Beverly Delores (Place) McKean, 81 and a former resident of 377 S. Eighth St. Oswego left these earthly bounds on February 7, 2011.
She had been employed for many years at the New York Telephone Company as an operator and later in the engineering department.
She loved to quilt and paint as her work was exemplary.
Mrs. McKean was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church.
She is survived by two sons Marc R. Grindle of Oswego and J. C. McKean of Albany, two brothers Ulysses Grant Place, Jr. of Fulton, David Place, Sr. of Oswego, two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister Barbara, her first husband James Richard Grindle and a son David Allen Grindle.
Memorial services will be held 6:00PM Thursday February 10, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home. There are no calling hours.
