Oswego – Enza Napoli, 88, a resident of Oswego, passed away Wednesday, at her home.
Enza was born in Sicily, Italy, the daughter of the late Carmello and Vincenza (Costa) Napoli. She moved to Oswego from Italy in 1962.
She was a gifted tailor, and operated a tailor shop in Oswego for a few years before moving to San Francisco, California.
Enza lived in San Francisco for many years, and continued to work as a tailor. She retired from Hastings Men’s Clothing Store. She returned to Oswego last year.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews, including Rosalia, Hannah, and Emma Kozel of Oswego, with whom she resided, and Lisa Godfrey of Hannibal; and her brother-in-law, Frank Kozel of Oswego; and several cousins.
She was predeceased by her sister, Lucy Kozel McCracken, of Oswego, who died in 2003; and several other siblings in Italy.
Funeral services will be private.
Burial will be in the Italian Cemetery in San Francisco.
There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements are in care of the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Oswego.
