Oswego – Mary T. Daly, 86, a former resident of 196 West 6th Street in Oswego, passed away Friday, at the Sunrise Nursing Home.
Mrs. Daly was born in Oswego, the daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Ditota) Losurdo. She was a graduate of Oswego High School, and was a life resident.
She was the wife of the late John H. Daly, who died in 1966.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a secretary, for 30 years, at SUNY-Oswego.
Mrs. Daly was a volunteer at the Oswego Hospital, and was a member of the Oswego Hospital Women’s Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Golden Age Group at Holy Family Church in Fulton.
She is survived by a daughter, Ann (Ronald) Reeves of Oswego; a granddaughter, Rebecca Reeves of Oswego; 2 great-grandchildren, Terry and Ethan; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by 2 sisters, Nancy Plata, and Elizabeth Brown; and a brother, Joseph Losurdo.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00am Wednesday, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held from 4:00 to 7:00pm Tuesday, at the funeral home, 112 East Second Street in Oswego.
