P. Kevin Gilman, 58, of Oswego, died unexpectedly on Thursday, December 17th.
Born in Syracuse, he was a graduate of State University College at Oswego. He was a financial advisor for Northwestern Mutual, a passionate traveler, athlete, rugby coach, reader, and nature lover. For the past 22 years, Kevin has hosted the Longest Day of the Year Party, where family and friends gathered from across the country and globe.
Kevin was predeceased by his father Raymond C. Gilman Jr.; mother Jean Bailey: and brother Tim.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Irene of Oswego; sisters Teresa and Mara of Syracuse, and Joan of Seattle; brothers Dugan of Syracuse, and Geoffrey of Baldwinsville; nephews Ray, Nate and Dylan; nieces Rachel, Sara, Katie, and Victoria.
A celebration of his life will be held at a time to be announced.
There will be no calling hours.
