Oswego – Betty E. Brown, 88, a resident of 19 Dublin Street in Oswego, passed away Friday, at the Loretto Nursing Home in Oswego.
Mrs. Brown was born in Oswego, the daughter of the late William J. and Anna (Andrews) Horr. She was a life resident.
She was the wife of the late James Brown, who died in 2001.
Mrs. Brown was a life member of the West Baptist Church in Oswego, where she served as a Deaconess.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by a daughter, Susan (Joseph) Benzing of Oswego; a son Jay-B (Gwen) Brown of Oswego; 4 grandchildren, Jayson Brown, Lacey Brown, Joseph Benzing, and James Benzing; a great-granddaughter, Morgan Benzing; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, at 11:00am, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Rural Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Monday, from 4:00 to 7:00pm, at the funeral home, 112 East Second Street in Oswego.
